Leavin'

Ahh~ I hardly found the time to blog~ >_<"

Went out to the Mines on Wednesday with Ru and ST (because they are so awesome. Like rly.) Ru's link because I am lazy tired.

Spent two days at Genting with S3 and slept for two hours before living off mocha and Mountain Dews. Pictures are on fb, because if I blogged about Genting in the last post. Everything is about the same, expect more rain and fog. Also everything is 67x more crazy.

My grandma is now staying at my aunt's because we're leaving so I don't get to eat amazing food anymore. D:

And because we're leaving on December 1st for the US, my cupboard is being cleaned out and two trips to Uniqlo ensured warm clothing. I hope.

We'll be back on the 2nd of January. LIKE OMG SCHOOL. ;A; Jet laaagggg!!

Meeting up with Ru and ST again tomorrow to watch Rapunzel at Mid Valley and read BL afterwards. :D We get so high when we're together.

Okay obligatory blog post done. Farewell, readers. We shall meet again.

I Feel Like Doing Something Counterproductive

I just finished reading Misfortune by Wesley Stace which I'm sure was very taxing to write because it was very taxing to read.

Also as some of you may know, my holidaying is sort of rushed.

Too tired. I will make this a very boring tldr post. I still have so many things to do.

Went up to Genting with my parents and aunts and grandma for the 凤飞飞 concert. My sister and I, on the other hand, indulged in random acts of insanity which involved tears, dry vomiting and cup noodles.

Pictures will perhaps work better.

Every post must start off with a self-potrait, because I'm narcissistic like that.

My sister and I posing with an entire wall of bird cages. The birds are not real.

My sister and I, again, posing in front of a giant (Christmas?) tree made of out plastic water tanks. You know, those really big ones that are upside down and you see it in offices etc etc. Never mind.

Also, you should be getting used to (or sick of) our faces.

Lookin' cool in Motion Master 3D glasses. It was a blast, but the blasts of air in my face was not only annoying, it was scary. Slightly. Okay, so I was creeped out a bit, but who wouldn't in the faces of many walking dolls who seem bent on killing you?

The Bumper Cars is as usual a fun ride, but the long wait is highly frustrating.

Heck, a lot of things are highly frustrating, mostly the very long lines.

Doing a bit of archery. I still swoon over Legolas. All the time. HIS HAIR, LIEK OMG. Anyways, I am a natural at archery. I keep dropping the arrows. I don't even need to aim.

After that we walked around, my sister complained about her sore feet, we rode some of those really boring nonsensical rides that just go one small round and went back to the hotel. Later I found mynews.com closed and derived of my cup noodles, went into an angry sulk.

The next day we woke up late (actually, I woke up early, but my sister wanted to sleep) and then I continued my angry sulk from the night before (...well, early morning, if you want to be specific about it) until we had breakfast. Food makes everything better.

Of course my first ride in the Outdoor Theme Park was the spinning chair thingies. I love that.

(Also this will be pictureless because my camera was in my bag which was in a locker. I don't whip out my camera and take pictures on rides that are high off the ground and jerky. No, I want my camera to live a long, healthy life, thank you very much.)

Then we went on the superman ride where you lie down and zoom about. It was great. You had to pay an extra RM10 for each ride, though. The bad news is that the seat/couch/whatever thing you lie on stinks LIEK OMG I DON'T EVEN which ruined the ride. I felt like barfing, but only because the smell stayed on my coat I MEAN LIEK EWWWWW.

The Pirate Ship ride lulled me to sleep. Really.

Corkscrew, like usual, was fast and violent. I think the best part of the thrill is wondering whether the coach will fall and crash into the ground.

My favorite was the suicide jump. The one that flies really high up then drops down unexpectedly. You get to enjoy the view, at any rate. The wait was also really, really long. D: I remember distinctly screaming something like "OHMYGOD SHIIIIIIT" and the person sitting next to me laughing. Laughing. I later checked out the photos (you know, those they take then daylight rob you for them) to learn that my sister and I had the normal screaming expression (they were identical. I mean like really.) whilst the guy next to me (the one who laughed) wore no expression. At all. He was like (._.) no kidding. I would have bought the picture if it wasn't priced at frickin' RM30. SO DAMN AWESOME WEI.

After that we sort of finished all the exciting rides and then we rode on the boring ones. And the classic ones. Like the spinning teacup, which we didn't spin. We just sat in there and reminisced about how the rides seemed to be nicer when we were young.

Nothing else to say about the rides after the spinning teacup because it was near noon and people were starting to wake up. LONG LINES ARE LONG.

On the way back to KL we went to the very large temple.

♥ my earphones.

A pretty macro shot my sister took. ORANGE.

What better than a Buddha hiding to get you through tough times?

Hidden dragon... On the rooftop.

BECAUSE YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ANY GOD EXCEPT THE 弥勒佛. W00T!

End of TLDR post.
(I can hear your sighs of relief.)

Uniqlo- the Japanese Giordano

I've actually been into a Uniqlo store before the Malaysian one opened in Fahrenheit 88. There are a lot of Uniqlos in Shanghai.

I was dead set on hating Uniqlo because it was people raged about it because it's Japanese. So what if it's Japanese. It's Made In China. Then I went in and I'm thinking, OH. I like this.

It's got all those really fashionable clothes that are classic in a way that doesn't seem to be dug out from Lady Gaga's closet.

AND HELLO. MY MOM BROUGHT ME THERE. Obviously that means buying clothes I can't normally afford.

Black jacket, blackish furry collar.

omg my thighs. Size of mushrooms after rain. D:

Hello there. Looking pretty hot, Squall. (Another note: I have that gunblade on a chain. HAHA.)

See, I am obsessed. I think he was my first obsession. Hello, HAVE YOU SEEN HIS HAIR. IT IS SO AWESOME. xDD

Now I have this sweet thing to make me squeal. GOKUDERA I SHIP YOU. ;A;

Now I have officially lost my mind. Feel free to burn my house. (No wait, on second thought, don't.)

Right. Bai.

Lucky 8nion Rings

I stopped by for lunch at the Burger King next to Masjid Jamek LRT station today. I ordered a Jr. Whopper and onion rings, then found that there was no straws for my coke and no sauce plate for my ketchup, which made me make two rather embarrassing trips to the counter after meeting very irritating, irresponsible workers.

The Jr. Whopper is disappointing. I remember the very first time I had it was at the Bangsar branch (which has gone from being at two-storey shop to one-storey to nonexistent) when Denise introduced me to something called the "Whopper". It was mind-numbingly good, and soon after that, I enthusiastically jumped on the BK wagon, shipping Whoppers and smiling sardonically at people eating Big Macs. Suffice to say, after the Bangsar BK branch closed down, I was the one who always eats Big Macs and longs for a nice yummy BK Whopper. Silently.

I think I can count the number of times I've stepped into a Burger King with two hands. Today's splurge, though, was not worth my time.

I suppose I've probably recreated the Whopper into this better-than-Big-Mac, superb, amazing, awesome food in my mind, due to having been told such by my brother and also the large stretch of time that has passed since my last encounter with it.

It's like people longing for Ferrero Rochers when they have perfectly good Buenos. Then they get their hands on some Ferrero and they think, this isn't as good as I remembered it.

(But Ferrero Rondnoir is like melting your soul and as you evaporate into chocolatey bliss. Nothing can rival the Rondnoir.)

On another completely unrelated note, I had the chance to cut up a pig's heart in the morning. Chyi was given the heart, a wickedly blunt blade, and a chopping board with a wax sealing.

I can pretty much assume that we were ninjas in out past lives because we had great fun chopping up the heart.

Updates will be short, and far and few in between.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Trying to Live

OKAY. So some people may have noticed I've gone missing for the past month, and also that my Singapore trip is never going to be updated, just like my Hong Kong trip post. Er. You are correct.

I'll try, I really will.

This post is just to so to tell you all that no, I am not dead. Also, I am back from Shang Hai which is depressingly cold. Depressingly.

On the bright side, I bought a lot of stuff there.

I would like to make a post with pictures about all the things I've bought, but blargh. > <" Too much work. :\

OKAY I JUST FOUND OUT ANIMANGAKI WAS ON OCT 31 WHY DO I NOT KNOW THIS AND WHY DID NO ONE BOTHER TO TELL ME.

POINT IS.

Um. I am tired. And lazy. And I should be working on my fics now, so bye.
